Ingredients
- Lobster tails
- Unsalted butter
- Fresh garlic
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Paprika
- Fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges
1. Prepare the Lobster Tails
Cut through the top of each lobster shell with kitchen scissors. Gently lift the meat above the shell while keeping it attached at the base. Pat dry and season lightly with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
2. Make the Garlic Butter
Melt the butter and mix it with minced garlic, lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Brush some of the garlic butter over the lobster meat before grilling.
3. Grill the Lobster
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the lobster tails shell-side down and grill with the lid closed. Brush with more garlic butter while cooking until the meat becomes opaque, tender, and lightly golden.
4. Serve
Remove the lobster tails from the grill and brush with the remaining garlic butter. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges and parsley.
BBQ Tip: Avoid overcooking lobster tails. Remove them from the grill once the meat is opaque and reaches about 63°C / 145°F in the thickest part.
